what a gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple in love to say ‘i do’.
the day started with a five hour drive. worth it. we arrived to a busy house full of joy and excitement. first things first. capture the details. brides getting ready, place settings being arranged, cake arriving, and all the succulents.
in the midst of all the excitement came a moment a terror. someone’s zipper is busted. crap. no worries. i can sew and this isn’t my first rodeo. camera down and sewing kit in hand, i got to work. after sweating for a solid 10 minutes…..crisis was averted, dress mended, and T minus 5 min to wedding march.
ceremony was perfect. like seriously. perfect.
now to party! sun was setting and the music was getting groovy. that’s still a cool word right?
many things made this wedding a blast, i think what made it really fun for me was the fact i was not there as a stranger. i had spent months getting to know these ladies and i captured their love for each other at their engagement session.
