It is very possible you have a million questions and that is quite all right.

So if I sent you this page it is because you may be interested in us doing a session together. So let me walk you through what that may look like. Not everyone has booked a photographer before and it can seem over whelming.

Booking //

I will send you a quick questionnaire to help me get to know you and what you envision for your session. In addition to your four legged love story, we'll talk about, outfit ideas, poses, locations, etc. I’ll send you a ‘booking proposal’ where you will pick what package you want, review our date, session details, and sign my contract. Once you have clicked ‘submit’ we are official. That easy! Once you are booked I’ll send you some helpful tips to prepare you for your session. I am always open to meeting beforehand to break the ice. I would love to treat you to coffee/tea to hear all about what shenanigans you and your four legged bestie get into.

Session Day //

The day of our session I will arrive a bit early to meet you and your horse. I’ll use this time to scout the location for lighting and the perfect places to shoot. Don’t fret if you are bit anxious about being photographed, that is totally okay. Throughout the session i’ll give you some posing guidance, which usually consists of me asking you to love on your horse or telling me stories of your adventures together. You’ll find I am patient and flexible to keep our pace flowing smoothly.

Gallery Reveal //

Completion of images depends on the type of session, but my typically turn around is about 4 weeks. Once your images are ready, you will receive your pictures through email with a link to a personalized online gallery from which you can download the files straight to your computer. after viewing your gallery we will then talk about what portraits you will use for your prints or books included in your session.

In Case You Have a Million More Questions

what is your travel fee?

That will depend and will be discussed prior to booking. I do charge a small fee to cover my travel expenses for trips traveling outside of my general area (NW Arkansas) that require driving long distances or flying. Please contact me to learn more.

*Travel fee may be waved if there are other sessions in area of our scheduled shoot. In that case the travel deposit will be applied as session credit.

do you require a deposit?

Only for out of town sessions and weddings.

how do i pay for my session?

Acceptable payment methods are cash, check, card, or Paypal. Taxes may apply. Payment plans are available upon request.

I will obsessively check the weather and if it is looking bad we will reschedule. I can work in any weather but if you are looking for warm sunset pictures with your horse and there is a tornado ripping across the back field, probably going to reschedule.

how long until i receive my pictures?

Typically turn around is about 4 weeks. If you are ordering invitations or a print, it can take up to 10 days after you have made your order. If you need your images rushed for a project, I have a small fee for that.

can i post my pictures on Social Media?

Yes of course you can! Credit is preferred but not required.

can i print my pictures?

Your images are not permitted to be printed except through my professional printing labs to achieve the highest quality.

if i want more digital images than were included in my package?

No problem! Each digital image is $20 and if you decide you want to take the whole lot it’s $200.

can i swap items in your package?

If the item is of equal value. I can send you a product list.

how many horses can i do a session with?

Well depending on what session package you go with, I would recommend no more than 3 horses. If you decide you want to do a session with all 25 of your horses…maybe contact me first and let’s talk about the logistics of that.

what if my horse was naughty and I want a reschedule?

This is something we will go over in my contract. So far…I have not met a horse I couldn’t work with.
